The short version

MakerPorch does not require an account or collect form submissions. It uses Google AdSense technology. A European regulations message for makerporch.com is published in Google’s consent management system. This notice covers the main MakerPorch website; linked tools can have different data practices.

Basic server information

Like most websites, our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps, and security signals to deliver the site and prevent abuse.

Advertising and cookies

MakerPorch has installed the Google AdSense script, but the site has not been approved to show ads. Loading that script can contact Google even when no ad is visible. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure personalized or non-personalized ads. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies to select ads based on a visitor’s activity on MakerPorch and other websites.

Your advertising choices

You can control personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. You can also learn about opting out of participating third-party vendors at YourAdChoices. Google’s European consent setup has consent, do-not-consent, and manage-options controls enabled. Message presentation depends on region and Google’s settings; a published configuration does not mean every visitor will see a message.

When Google’s European consent message is served, use its “Privacy and cookie settings” link to revisit your choice. Google describes this behavior in its consent revocation guidance. Google Ads Settings is a separate advertising preference control, not a replacement for a site’s consent choices.

Other MakerPorch sites

A linked utility may have different technical behavior. For example, FitShift processes selected images locally in the browser rather than uploading them to a MakerPorch server. Check the privacy page of the tool you are using for its specific details.

Email and privacy questions

If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include in the message or attachments. We use Google Workspace to receive and respond to these messages. For privacy questions, email contact@makerporch.com. Please don’t send passwords, identity documents, or private photos.
